Imam
Imam Mohamed was born in Madinah, where he memorized the Qur’an at a young age, then studied at the hands of many prominent scholars. He graduated from the College of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah with a bachelor’s degree in Shariah. He has been awarded several ijazahs in the Ten Qira’at from various authoritative reciters in the Prophet’s Mosque.
Imam Mohamed specialized in Tafsir and was ranked 5th globally in memorization and in interpretation of the Qur’an at the King Abdulaziz International Qur’an Competition in Makkah in 2013.
He has led prayers and delivered Friday sermons in many countries, including Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, and South Africa.
Imam Mohamed co-founded Muslim Minorities Monitor, a UK-based organization dedicated to protecting and advocating for the rights of Muslim minorities.
Director of Religious Affairs
Sheikh Aamir Azhar Zaidi completed a diploma in Arabic at the Islamic University of Madinah in 2013. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the Faculty of Arabic Language and completed a post-graduate chaplaincy certification program through the department of academics in the Prophet’s Mosque in 2019.
Upon returning to Canada, Shaykh Aamir completed his memorization of the Holy Qur’an.
Sheikh Aamir’s role is focused on the following:
a) Youth counseling, education and outreach
b) New converts care: education, counseling and follow up.
c) Religious consultancy to ISWA and Daawa Committees
d) WIA representation for Daawa and Outreach activities
