Islamic Will

Procedure

Allah SWT says, “It is decreed for you: when death approaches one of you, and he leaves wealth, to make a testament in favor of the parents and the relatives, fairly and correctly—a duty upon the righteous.” (2:180)


The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has emphasized the preparation of a Will at one’s earliest opportunity: ‘It is not permissible for any Muslim who has something to will, to stay for two nights without having his last will written and kept ready with him.” (Bukhari, 53)


Outlined below are the steps to filling out your will:

  1. Download the PDF and complete
  2. Fill out the PDF electronically or by hand
  3. Have the form signed by 2 witnesses 
  4. Submit a copy of the form to be stored in our Wasiyyah Safe (Optional)
